Isabel Lederman recently graduated from the University of the Arts MFA Book Arts + Printmaking program in May of 2015. Currently, she assists the graduate letterpress course at the University of the Arts and works as a gallery research associate focusing on media outreach and public engagement at the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery. Lederman also teaches a visual poetry, artist book and offset printing course at Maryland Institute College of Art, where she continues as adjunct faculty. In her spare time she works as a studio artist developing personal and collaborative projects pertaining to letterpress, visual poetry and video work. The University of the Arts MFA Book Arts + Printmaking program has assisted Isabel to further develop her research relating to poetics and visual arts as well as how new technologies can re-envision processes such as letterpress printing within the framework of contemporary art.
